(There are many spellings of this surname to be found-Luallen, Luellen, Lewellen,Lewelling, and more, many appear in the vital records below.

(These entries have been crossreferenced as best could be done and have been listed in Alphabetical Order.)

This Section Is Dedicated to my beloved mother, Mildred Hilton-Sims-Ross-Floyd and her brother, Billy Rex Hilton and Years of Searching for Our Mary Jane Luallen !

The following is an all inclusive list of the results of the search Lu Dawn performed on records found in North Carolina, as well as various other searches I have long forgotton !

There is a beautiful story to be told here - It was during this search of records that I located much information which a small bit of it connected a distant relative to her long lost John Fassett who had married Susan Daltonor Dutton !
It is hoped much the same may befall those who search through this site !
Society demands the male surnames and thus the women and their history are very often lost.  This time it was the woman's name which assisted in locating the man!

Thus I advocate for including the surname of the women whenever available/possible!

Also note that it was a WOMAN which connected the Fassett Lineage to the Mayflower!

All are entered by first NAMES
